  • Description: Osborn has had a 10 year investment as a Skillman sponsored neighborhood to address social economic and educational improvements for families.
  • Historic Facts:
    • Area is home to DPS Osborn High School, Brenda Scott Middle School, Trix, Pulaski Elementary Schools, and home of the Schoenherr Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan.
    • Home of St. Raymond catholic church, one of the oldest churches in the zone and various, other denominational Churches.
  • Icons that represent Zone 5:
    • Once, highly populated, the area is now predominately Spacious Residential with large tracts of open vacant land ready for redevelopment or reuse.
    • Strong commercial corridor of Gratiot Avenue with various retail opportunities and transportation connector.
