CreatNed Wrap Up

Create NED used a $500,000 grant from ArtPlace America to make improvements to three area parks, produce three community arts festivals, and launch a mini-grant program for block-level creative placemaking activities. This work grows out of the visionary land use planning process that Restore NED facilitated from 2011 - 2013. This video provides a summary of our accomplishments.

Building a more vibrant NorthEast Detroit is an ongoing process

Northeast Detroit residents have been leading grassroots development efforts in our neighborhoods for decades. We have also been growing a collaborative vision for land use that prioritizes resident leadership and vision. This short documentary captures some of the people and projects at the heart of this effort.
